Powered by Ctrls Datacentres, the event witnessed who’s who of Mumbai CIO fraternity
The largest CIO event series of 2018 – Enterprise IT World 7 City CIO Dinner and Discourse powered by CtrlS Datacenters wrapped up its Mumbai event on 13th of April, 2018. Attended by over 80 CIOs and IT Leaders from various vertical industries, the event witnessed involvement of the CIOs actively in the powerful topic of “transforming role and road ahead”.
This event happened, after the successful engagement of over 250 IT leaders in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The venue was JW Marriott, one of the luxurious hotels located in the suburbs of Juhu in Mumbai. The event continued the momentum from the previous four engagements in March-April as veteran IT leaders took part in a Panel Discussion on the role transformation for current CIOs in the new technology landscape and the road ahead for emerging leaders of tomorrow.
The discussion at the Mumbai event was moderated by veteran IT leader Mukund Prasad, Prof. IT, HR & Strategy, NMIMS; ex- Global CIO and Global HR Head, Welspun, Ranbaxy, Ispat Industries and HCL Infosystems. Among the panelists were Ritu Madbhavi, Sr. Vice President IT, FCB Ulka Advertising; Rajesh Garg, CIO & VP – Digital Transformation Solutions Delivery, Rolta; Suresh Iyer, Chief Information Officer, Blue Star and Meheriar Patel, CIO, AGC Networks. The panel discussion was followed up by the open forum where CIOs and IT leaders from the audience took part in the discussion, gave their view points and raised questions.
The event also saw informative videos from presenting partner CtrlS Datacenters. Sanjay Mohapatra, Group Editor, Accent Infomedia and Enterprise IT World made a keynote address pondering on the idea behind these events and also announced the CIO500 Mega Tech Summit and Awards event, locally unveiling the CIO500 logo with Senior CIOs from the area.
The Seven City CIO Dinner and Discussion events are conceptualized to give enterprise IT leaders an open platform to come and express their views among peers, gain insights and gather actionable experience to add to the value of their organizations. The event series which is India’s first CIO Open Forum of its kind will stretch to four more cities in the month of April. The next city on the roadmap is Chennai which hosts the event on the 20th of April at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai before wrapping up with this year’s initiative at Pune on the 27th of April 2018. The events across seven cities are conceptualized and hosted by India’s leading CIO publication Enterprise IT World and are powered by India’s largest Tier4 Datacenter organization CtrlS Datacenters.
