Sanjay Rohatgi Named Symantec’s President – Sales, India

He joins from Cisco where he held the position of MD, service provider for India & SAARC

Symantec has appointed Sanjay Rohatgi as President – Sales for India. Based in Delhi, Rohatgi will be responsible for leading Symantec’s business and driving growth across enterprise and consumer business by developing and delivering on business strategy.

An industry veteran, Rohatgi has worked in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) industry for over 23 years in various roles across multiple geographies. He joins Symantec after an illustrious career at Cisco where most recently, he held the position of Managing Director, Service Provider for India & SAARC. In this capacity, Sanjay was responsible for leading Cisco’s business with telecom service providers and cable operators across the region. Prior to Cisco, Sanjay has worked with Nortel Networks in Hong Kong, Telstra and BHP Billiton in Australia, and British Telecom in the UK.
