Highlights regarding implementations in 2016: Digital Transformation dominated HCL Infosystems’ technology agenda in 2016. We built a social and collaborative enterprise through use of enterprise social media platform @Workplace by Facebook. In fact, HCL Infosystems was among the very few early adopters, implementing it before it was launched globally. With a “Cloud-first” strategy we have been able to move over 70% of our workload on Azure cloud. Besides bringing cost efficiencies, this has helped drive high impact business implementations at break-neck speed supported by a highly agile Cloud foundation. We have brought our key corporate applications- including employee services – on a Mobile Platform, making accessing internal platforms much more convenient for employees across locations.
Plans for 2017 from technology and projects’ point of view: Digital technologies promise a tectonic shift in the way machines will automate our work. Natural Interfaces and AI will be at the forefront of this transformation. In 2017, HCL Infosystems will actively focus on Cognitive services that can help us create differentiated value for our employees and customers. We will be working on virtual agents to bring more consistency in agent responses and higher cost efficiencies.

Favorite piece of personal technology: Apple watch is my favorite toy. It’s my companion at both work and at play. It reminds me about my meetings as well as my fitness routines.
Hobbies pursued in free time: At this stage my favorite hobby is to spend quality time with my family. Time with my kids really is the “me time” for me.
