Unlimit, the Internet of Things (IoT) venture of Anil Ambani has collaborated with Cumulocity, an IoT software provider to launch a new platform ‘Enablement’ for new products and services.
The partnership of both the companies is on the revenue sharing model. The new platform will help businesses to connect any device over any network, manage and store asset data by controlling them in real-time by monitoring device availability and administer and rectify device faults.
‘Enablement’ will help design new products for verticals like healthcare, industrial automation, financial services etc. “With the number of connected devices in India projected to rise from 200 million today to 3 billion by 2020, nearly every part of the economy will be positively impacted by IoT. We are delighted to partner with Cumulocity to launch our new platform ‘Enablement’ and unlock the full potential of the Internet of Things for our customers and make the benefits of IoT virtually UNLIMITed,” said Chief Executive Officer of Unlimit, Juergen Hase in conversation with Telecomtalk.info.
With this partnership, Unlimit customers will benefit from the rapid machine, sensor and device integration, as well as data collection and real-time analytics for condition monitoring. Unlimit has forged a deal with Cisco Jasper last year for IoT.
