Leading messaging & voice API Company, ranked No 6 among global messaging providers by telcos (ROCCO research), has acquired Mumbai headquartered Cellent Technologies.
This is in line with Route Mobile’s strategy of pursuing inorganic growth to reach a wider set of enterprise customers as well as broaden its portfolio of products and services. Globally, too, the A2P (application-to-peer) messaging market is seeing consolidation with Sweden’s CLX Technologies acquiring Mblox and Vonage buying Nexmo.
Cellent Technologies, part of the Goel Group, has a presence in the A2P messaging markets of the Middle East and Africa. More than 250 customers and a team of over 30 people are now part of Route Mobile’s family as part this acquisition.
Rajdip Gupta, CEO, Route Mobile Limited remarked, “We are making strategic acquisitions to strengthen our presence in markets globally as well as to offer a wider set of products and services to our customers. This is our first such acquisition and we are delighted to have Cellent’s team and customers join the Route Mobile family.”
Siddharth Goel, Founder & Director, Cellent Technologies said, “We, at Cellent, are delighted to partner with Route Mobile’s vision to build a world class messaging company from India. Consolidating will help our customers and our team to work together to offer stronger and differentiated products and services to the marketplace for years to come.”
