New Vertiv PowerDirect Rack provides 50V DC power with enhanced efficiency and scalability
Vertiv has launched the Vertiv PowerDirect Rack, a high-density 50V DC power shelf designed to meet the growing demands of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
This 1U modular power system can scale up to 132kW per rack by integrating multiple shelves, effectively doubling power capacity within the same footprint as alternative solutions. The OCP-compliant system supports both AC and high-voltage DC (HVDC) input, offering data centers greater flexibility and efficiency in power distribution.
