Quest Global Acquires Alpha-Numero to Strengthen Semiconductor and Avionics Capabilities

Expanding Expertise in FPGA, Avionic Design, and Safety-Critical Solutions

Quest Global has acquired Alpha-Numero Technology Solutions, a US-based VLSI design company specializing in FPGA. Headquartered in Irvine, California, Alpha-Numero operates R&D centers in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Endicott with over 150 engineers globally.

This acquisition strengthens Quest Global’s semiconductor and mission-critical solutions portfolio, enhancing its capabilities in Aerospace, Hi-Tech, and Automotive industries. Alpha-Numero is known for its avionic design, verification solutions, and compliance with DO-254 and DO-178B/C standards.

Alpha-Numero’s co-founders Sukanta Mitra, Santhi Ayyadevar, and Hari Patel will continue to lead the company. “Our shared focus on solving complex engineering challenges makes this a perfect fit. Together, we are innovating for the future of aviation and beyond,” they said in a joint statement.

With expertise in Complex Electronics Hardware (CEH), FPGA/ASIC/SoC design, and safety-critical avionics systems, Alpha-Numero enhances Quest Global’s ability to support FAA/EASA compliance and develop next-generation engineering solutions.
