Adaire Fox Martin to Head SAP APACJ

Will oversee SAP’s business in the APAC region excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

SAP has appointed Adaire Fox Martin as President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan. In her new role, Fox-Martin will oversee SAP’s business in the Asia Pacific Region, excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan which are managed by Mark Gibbs, President of SAP Greater China.
Both Fox-Martin and Gibbs report to Robert Enslin, President of Global Customer Operations and a member of the Global Managing Board of SAP AG who leads the company’s global field revenue and go-to-market efforts.

The release said that Fox-Martin was earlier the COO of SAP Asia Pacific Japan, who is now credited with the performance rebound in the region performance, achieving double digit growth in software and cloud in Q4.

“The Asia Pacific Japan region holds tremendous opportunity for SAP. The entire SAP Global Managing Board is confident that Adaire Fox-Martin’s experience and leadership will continue strengthening the company’s performance throughout the region and support our customer’s desire to more rapidly consume SAP innovation through our growing cloud portfolio,” said Robert Enslin.

The company stated that Fox-Martin was appointed SAP APJ COO in October 2013 and simultaneously served the interim APJ lead following the resignation of former APJ President Steve Watts. Prior to becoming COO, she served as the senior vice president for Industry Business Solutions. In that role, Adaire was instrumental in creating the region’s industry and industry go-to-market strategies, while representing APJ customer requirements as part of the global development and planning processes. Adaire joined SAP in 2008 from Oracle Corporation as the head of Public Sector for APJ.
