The companies to collaborate to offer industry-specific solutions based on SUSE OpenStack Cloud platform
SUSE, a pioneer in Linux and open source solutions, announced that it has partnered with Pi DATACENTERS to offer Cloud and SDDC services in India Pi is a state-of-the-art, greenfield data centre organization and an enterprise cloud service provider based in Amaravati, the capital region of the newly re-organised state of Andhra Pradesh.
SUSE and Pi DATACENTERS will collaborate to offer a complete spectrum of Cloud and Hosting services to customers in India. Pi DATACENTERS is the first 100 percent Software-Defined-Data-Center (SDDC) & Cloud Service Provider in India to have adopted SUSE OpenStack Cloud.
“SUSE and Pi DATACENTERS will leverage each other’s strength in delivering next-generation data center and Cloud services to enterprises in India. This will also bring more value and flexibility to SUSE’s customers as they can extend the benefits of SUSE products beyond their in house data centers,” said Rajarshi Bhattacharyya, Country Head at SUSE, India.
SUSE OpenStack Cloud will power Pi to offer a robust platform on which independent and isolated Clouds could be provisioned as a part of its various industry-specific Cloud solutions. Pi currently offers customized Cloud solutions for verticals across IT/ITES, BFSI, Government & PSU, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, E-Commerce and Retail.

Pi delivers SDN through SUSE OpenStack and Arista, which enables clients to deploy NFV in the network infrastructure. SUSE OpenStack Cloud also enables Pi to integrate the Cloud Orchestration across multiple data centers from a single control center.
