Autodesk appoints Varun Gadhok as Head of Manufacturing

An industry veteran, Varun brings more than 18 years of experience in Technical, Sales and Design roles in the manufacturing sector

Autodesk has appoints Varun Gadhok as head of its Manufacturing (MFG) business, for its India and SAARC operations. In his new role Varun will be responsible for driving Autodesk’s growth and increasing adoption of its offerings in the manufacturing sector in India. With the country’s strong focus to develop the manufacturing economy, growth of SMEs and policy initiatives such as ‘Make in India’ that aim to make Indian economy competitive globally, manufacturing is a key business and growth opportunity for Autodesk in India.

An industry veteran, Varun brings more than 18 years of experience in Technical, Sales and Design roles in the manufacturing sector. In his previous role, Varun was responsible for driving Fujitsu India Pvt. Ltd.’s sales and business growth in automotive sector as the Country Head of Automotive Business and also as Regional Sales Director. Varun also worked with Dassault Systemes as Senior Regional Sales Manager where he drove sales of Dassault’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions in North & East India. Prior to joining Dassault Systemes Varun worked as the Business Relationship Manager and Team Leader for Technical Marketing at Tata Consultancy Services. He started his career with Intelmac group (New Delhi) as a Sales & Application Executive and then in Escorts Ltd., R & D Centre, Faridabad as Asst. Manager for Design.
