Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced the launch of eight new HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers, engineered to deliver cutting-edge security, AI-driven automation, and enhanced performance for demanding workloads. These next-generation servers, powered by the upcoming Intel Xeon 6 processors, cater to enterprises, public sector organizations, and industries such as finance and healthcare.
Industry-Leading Security from Chip to Cloud
HPE’s latest ProLiant servers set a new benchmark for enterprise security with built-in protections across every layer—from hardware to cloud management. The introduction of HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO) 7 features a dedicated secure enclave, a proprietary security processor designed to resist quantum computing threats and meet the FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification for cryptographic security.
The secure enclave ensures end-to-end supply chain integrity, preventing firmware attacks and enabling safe decommissioning through HPE Onsite Decommission Services.
“Our customers need powerful, secure, and efficient compute solutions to handle the growing demands of AI, data analytics, and hybrid cloud environments.”

AI-Driven Efficiency and Automation
With AI-enhanced HPE Compute Ops Management, IT teams can automate operations, predict power usage, and optimize energy consumption. A new global map feature allows organizations to monitor server health across distributed environments, reducing downtime by up to 4.8 hours per server annually.
HPE’s Power Advisor tool helps businesses estimate energy costs and carbon footprints, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Performance and Energy Efficiency for Modern Workloads
Designed to handle AI, data analytics, and hybrid cloud workloads, the new ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers deliver up to 41% better performance per watt than previous models. With up to 65% power savings per year, a single Gen12 server can match the computing power of seven Gen10 servers.
To support energy-efficient data centers, HPE is also offering direct liquid cooling (DLC) options for its Intel-based rack servers, leveraging decades of expertise in high-performance computing.
Availability and Future Outlook
Six of the eight new ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers—including the DL320, DL340, DL360, DL380, DL380a, and ML350—will be available in Q1 2025, while the Synergy 480 and DL580 models will launch in Summer 2025.
Customers can purchase the servers as standalone units or through HPE GreenLake, a cloud-based consumption model offering scalability and cost efficiency. HPE Services will provide advisory, operational, and financial assistance to help businesses maximize the value of their new IT infrastructure.
With these innovations, HPE is redefining enterprise computing by combining security, AI automation, and energy efficiency—giving organizations the power they need to meet future challenges.
