In his last sting at NSE, as the EVP and CTO/COO , he was instrumental in making the exchange a fair, equitable, interoperable, resilient, and scalable platform, processing more than 20 billion order messages per day. He also leveraged agile, cognitive, and big data technologies to enhance the performance, security, and efficiency of the exchange.
He was also the CTO of SBI, where he set up India’s first digital bank platform, Yono, which acquired more than 50 million new customers in less than 24 months and achieved a valuation of USD 80 billion. He is also a multiple times TEDx speaker, a board member, a patent holder, and a monk.
Mr. Bhasin has more than three decades of global experience in the financial services industry. He is a transformation leader, innovator, and entrepreneur who drives digital transformation, customer experience, and platform businesses.
Most part of his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as State Bank of India, Barclays, and Fidelity Investments, as well as the National Stock Exchange of India, the largest derivative stock exchange in the world by order volume.
