Highlights regarding implementations in 2016: Focused on building an infrastructure that can scale up to meet the pace at which BankBazaaar is growing – domestically and internationally – in terms of number of partners, products, and categories. Expanded our platform internationally to Singapore, launched Mutual Fund platform. Launched a multi-brand platform for instant paperless approval of loans.
Plans for 2017 from technology and projects’ point of view: Further develop a paperless, presence-less, cashless online ecosystem and extend it to all personal finance product purchase across loans, credit cards, and savings and investment categories.
Success mantra: Empower small teams and provide them with a clear set of measurable goals. Create a system where inefficiencies bubble up fast so they can be addressed. The worst thing that can happen to an organization is people adjusting and working around inefficiencies. Make time for regular discussions with ICs/skip levels so you don’t live in a bubble. Most important, constantly make execution adjustments based on real evidence even if you were wrong!
