Xerox Named a Leader in IDC MarketScape 2013

Receives analyst recognition globally for its ConnectKey platform

Xerox is a leader in the IDC MarketScape 2013 Smart MFP report for the second consecutive year. IDC noted Xerox as an established market leader for printing and copying and with a solid foothold in the multifunction printer (MFP) space.

According to the report, the most significant development for Xerox was the introduction of the ConnectKey® technology platform.

ConnectKey is a software system embedded in Xerox MFPs and a set of solutions that responds to an increasingly mobile workforce and the need for more advanced IT security across connected devices. Features include the ability to scan and upload documents to cloud repositories, send business-critical documents directly into workflow processes and print securely and easily from any mobile device.

“Xerox’s portfolio, particularly ConnectKey, is a testament to the essential role MFPs play in today’s business environment. Xerox’s ConnectKey features include the ability to scan and upload documents to cloud repositories, send business-critical documents directly into workflow processes and print securely and easily from any mobile device. This Xerox innovation takes hassles out of workdays and adds more productivity into workplaces,” said Vipin Tuteja, Executive Director, Technology, Channels & International Business, Xerox India.

Additional accolades for ConnectKey include the 2013 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Excellence in Technology Innovation.

Frost & Sullivan annually presents this award to a company that demonstrates excellence in new products and technologies within its industry.
