Xebia Gathers Indian Agile Software Development Community at AgileNCR 2016

Agile Software Development Conference 2016 concludes on a successful note

AgileNCR 2016, the 8th edition of the Agile Software Development Conference concludes on a successful note in Gurgaon. The two-day conference on Agile Technology was organized by Xebia, a next-generation digital transformation and global IT company along with Agile enthusiasts of the NCR region. The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Evolution of the Agile Revolution.’

The conference brought together over 250 delegates from more than 75 Technology Companies in the region, including key International speakers, Industry practitioners, Agile gurus and seasoned Agilists to address the growing need of digital enterprises for adoption of fast-paced Agile Software Development. The conference provided a platform to learn best practices and explore new ideas and trends on evolving technology.

The key speakers of the inaugural session on the first and second day included Anand Sahay, CEO, Xebia India; Tathagat Verma, Founder & CEO, Thought Leadership; Karan Nangru, Chief Digital & Technology, Xebia and Chris Lukassen, Xebia Netherlands; among others respectively.

The conference covered all aspects of Agile technology under four parallel tracks- Future of Agile Coaching, Agile beyond IT, Agile DevOpsified and Agile in Big Data and Analytics. Interactive sessions on these topics provided the participants an excellent opportunity to discover tools designed to increase efficiency and productivity while leveraging best practices to improve Agile adoption.

Addressing the audience, Anand Sahay, CEO, Xebia IT Architects India said, “AgileNCR 2016 is a very important event for us with respect to taking Agile as well as the Agile community to the next level. Agile is turning bigger than software development. That’s why we have touched upon topics which are beyond IT in this year’s conference. AgileNCR is the largest and most comprehensive event, providing attendees with hands-on training in a variety of disciplines while improving their knowledge about Agile. Apart from sessions, there were experts led workshops followed by panel discussion.

During the conference, Xebia Training launched DASA (DevOps Agile Skills Association) certification in India. DASA can provide the skills and knowledge that IT professionals need for their transformational journey. DASA DevOps Fundamentals provides an extensive introduction to the Agile DevOps principles covering the essential knowledge and skill competences, defined by DASA. At the conference, Chris Lukassen, Product Samurai, Xebia Netherlands launched his famous book for Product Owners/Product Managers in India.
