VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell EMC VxRail will enable faster adoption of hybrid cloud

Organizations are looking to deploy more hybrid cloud solutions to overcome complexities existing in the traditional Information Technology (IT) environment. Some of the major factors that are expected to drive the growth of this market include growing demand from organizations for agile, scalable, and cost-efficient computing; the rising need of standards for interoperability between cloud services and existing systems; increasing demand to avoid vendor lock-in; and the growing number of digital services and their applications.

Therefore, the need of the hour is to offer an innovative, modern solution that offers customers increased performance and efficiency to manage the wide range of services that IT organizations are required to deliver. Dell EMC created VxRail, a next-gen technology that provides future proofing for your infrastructure, over a period of 3 years, to improve and optimize VMware systems. Powered by VMware vSAN and Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, VxRail is the only fully integrated, pre-configured, and pre-tested VMware hyper-converged appliance in the market.

To further optimize hybrid cloud systems for customers, Dell EMC recently announced the arrival of VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell EMC VxRail—a fast and easy path to deploy and operate hybrid cloud through a fully integrated platform. The Cloud Foundation on VxRail is engineered to act as an operative nexus for all activities pertaining to the user’s hybrid cloud. This highly integrated platform is built to offer a seamless experience with respect to delivery of infrastructure. It aims to provide an “on-premise infrastructure running” experience which is set to surpass the existing systems within the Cloud Foundation. Each lifecycle is automated and punctuated with a “turnkey on-premise” experience. The end-to-end lifecycle design is built to minimize the risk and maximize efficiency. The lucid interface coupled with quick deployment greatly improves the delivery of infrastructure. Consequently, this increases the organization’s capacity to provide IaaS and PaaS.

The Cloud Foundation on VxRail is designed to ensure an automated and smooth operation of the organization’s SDCC stack. It comes with features such as increased networking flexibility, thereby boosting options of deployment and networking advantages of Dell EMC. The architectural, as well as the software updates of Cloud Foundation VxRail, would mean that the users will be able to enjoy the HCI benefits in the near future. The new operation hub for a hybrid cloud could be the solution for IT organizations to optimize their SDCC stacks, systematic delivery of infrastructure and planned evolution of the VMware-based operations.

If you have determined that hybrid cloud is the future of your IT organization, the best way to improve service outcomes and reduce operational risk while evolving to a hybrid cloud operating model is by leveraging trusted technologies and operational processes. VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) on Dell EMC’s leading hyper-converged infrastructure VxRail solution will prove to be a “game-changer” which will enable faster adoption of hybrid cloud.
