Veritas Strengthens Senior Leadership

Announce new leadership team and the return of founder Mark Leslie as board advisor

Veritas takes Formerly CFO, Harris Corp. on board as its new Chief Financial Officer. Lopez has over 30 years of experience working with leading global tech firms like Cisco, Aricent and IBM. Also joining the Veritas leadership team is George Haddad (Formerly at Concentrix Corp.) who will be the new Chief Human Resources Officer. Haddad has had a long career heading talent acquisition and leadership development for organizations like HP Enterprise and Verisign.

Internally, Matt Cain (CPO since 2012) takes up the newly created position of President, Worldwide Field Operations in which capacity, he’ll be overseeing sales, renewals, channels, sale operations, services and support functions. Also changing roles will be Ana Pinczuk (Formerly Senior VP and GM, Backup and Recovery Business Unit) who will be joining the Veritas Management Team as Executive Vice President and will also be taking over Cain’s role as the new Chief Product Officer.

Veritas CEO Bill Coleman, who gave his comments on the recent revolution at Veritas, “We are very fortunate to have individuals of this calibre as members of our leadership team. Each brings a diversity of experience and skills to drive results for our customers and partners. In less than thirty days since separation, we’ve established the team and organizational structure that will bring the right balance of innovation and business expertise to propel our business forward.”

Also, Founder, former Chairman and CEO, Mark Leslie makes his return to Veritas as board advisor. Leslie started Veritas Tech. with 12 employees and under his able leadership the company grew phenomenally to 5,500 employees and annual sales of over $1.5 Billion. After Veritas, Leslie has been involved in various capacities with organizations like Model N (NYSE: MODN) and Stanford Health Systems. CEO Coleman said of Leslie’s homecoming, “Having Mark come home is an unbelievable, decisive step in setting the company’s tone and outlook.” He further added, “To have the man responsible for Veritas’ amazing beginning as an advisor to our board is more than we could have hoped for. We look forward to having his business acumen, company and industry insights, and positive attitude back on the Veritas team.”
