Veeam Enables the Always-On Enterprise with New Availability Platform Release

Delivers next generation of Availability for virtual, physical, and cloud-based workloads to enable the Always-On Enterprise

Veeam Software has announced the next generation of Availability: Veeam Availability Platform for the Hybrid Cloud. According to IDC, enterprises are engaged in a continuous digital transformation process as they adapt to or drive disruption by leveraging digital competencies. To enable this, we are already at the stage where switching to a cloud-first strategy is a necessity for survival, not a strategy for competitive advantage. By 2019, most organizations around the world will need to complete the shift to a predominantly cloud-based IT environment, and this places a huge pressure on availability tools to deliver a constant experience across multiple environments.

As per the release, Veeam Availability Platform solution is comprised of the Veeam Availability Suite, NEW Veeam Availability Console, Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows, Veeam Agent for Linux, Veeam Availability Orchestrator and Veeam Cloud Connect.
