TechnologyOne becomes the only ERP SaaS ERP provider with mission-critical tools for the Higher education sector

TechnologyOne  has to acquire Higher Education software provider CourseLoop, in a deal that solidifies its position as the top SaaS provider for Higher Education institutions in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

With the addition of CourseLoop’s Curriculum Management, TechnologyOne OneEducation has become the world’s first SaaS platform to encompass the entire student lifecycle – from course design to graduation – into a single unified ERP solution.

The integration of a Curriculum Management capability alongside TechnologyOne’s market-leading Student Management, Timetabling and Scheduling, Human Resource and Payroll, Enterprise Asset Management, and Finance capabilities will provide, for the first time ever, full visibility across the entire academic cycle.

Edward Chung, CEO, TechnologyOne “This acquisition is part of our strategy to deliver a student-centric, end-to-end ERP SaaS solution for the Higher Education sector.”

Curriculum Management will provide Higher Education institutions with data-driven insights via a single source of truth to create courses that the market demands, that students want to study, that are financially sustainable, and that deliver student success and institutional differentiation.

Huw Davies, Vice President (Digital) & Chief Digital Officer at Queensland University of Technology, said: “Having used TechnologyOne OneEducation for nearly 20 years, it is a critical part of university operations. Combining its capabilities with the new curriculum management tool in a single source of truth will allow our institution to continue leading in delivering a world-class student experience through integrated data.”

Brian Clark, CourseLoop’s CEO & Founder, said: “Becoming part of the TechnologyOne family will help us expedite our mission to transform the way Higher Education approaches curriculum and academic operations to elevate the staff and student experience in universities across the globe.”

“I founded CourseLoop to help universities address their strategic curriculum management challenges via a true end-to-end solution, connecting every element of a university’s curriculum, from ideation to publication and everything in between.”

Edward Chung, TechnologyOne CEO, said: “This acquisition is part of our strategy to deliver a student-centric, end-to-end ERP SaaS solution for the Higher Education sector.”

“We have been working with Higher Education institutions for more than 30 years, and our deep industry knowledge has allowed us to design a world-class OneEducation SaaS solution to provide a better experience for their staff and students and combat some of the biggest challenges these institutions are facing, including international student caps, decreased applications, legislation and compliance, and an increased focus on graduate outcomes.”
