TCS reaffirms leadership in Cloud Enablement Services

Report Cites Tata Consultancy Services End-to-End Mature Cloud Enablement Services Suite, Internally Developed IP for Cloud and Technology Alliances as its Key Strengths

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been recognized as a ‘Leader’ in Everest Group’s report “Cloud Enablement Services – Market Trends and Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 20181”. “Competitive differentiation in the Business 4.0 world will come from enterprises becoming smarter, faster and lighter. A cloud-first strategy is core to these imperatives,” said Krishnan Ramanujam, President, Business and Technology Services at TCS. “Our leadership position is a testament to our investments and commitment in supporting our customers’ transformational journeys.”

TCS offers an end-to-end cloud services portfolio consisting of cloud advisory services, strategy and roadmap definition, assessment, deployment and implementation, workload migration and hybrid managed services, spanning public, private and hybrid cloud environments.

TCS has deep relationships with all leading cloud technology providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google and others. In addition, for customers with special requirements, TCS’ Enterprise Cloud Platform (ECP) offers a broad range of flexible private cloud infrastructure options, including PaaS. Its data services backbone is powered by the SMACK stack (Spark, Mesos, Akka, Cassandra, Kafka), a proven open source stack that helps clients who have a need for big data, analytics, IOT, and streaming data workload requirements.

TCS has an extensive portfolio of intellectual property which is cloud based, with a proven record of enabling faster time to market, reducing risk and delivering business value. These are TCS’ Advanced Drug Development Platform, ERP on Cloud, HOBS (Hosted OSS/BSS for CSPs), iON assessment platform, TAP for Procure to Pay, CHROMA for talent management, Intelligent Urban Exchange, and TCS BaNCS Cloud for Banking and Financial customers.

“Cloud is the underlying bedrock for enterprise digital transformation. As massive amounts of data flow across business processes, are processed into insight, and transformed into digital action points, modern cloud strategies must transcend traditional infrastructure silos. In a cloud native era, enterprises must partner with service providers that bring strong contextual knowledge of the client industry and the client’s environment,” said Chirajeet Sengupta, Partner, Everest Group. “TCS has been positioned a Leader in the Cloud Enablement PEAK Matrix  as a result of its continued focus on creating innovative IP, strong ecosystem of technology partners, and relentless focus on driving client value through contextualized technology and ops transformation programs.”

“Our extensive contextual knowledge of our customers’ businesses, along with the investments we have made in building a wide portfolio of cloud solutions, including those with our alliance partners, products and platforms, positions us as a trusted partner to organizations in their cloud endeavors,“  added Krishnan Ramanujam.
