SumTotal continues Unified HCM focus with Talent Expansion Suite

SumTotal announced that it has been recognized again as a Leader in the 2017 Nucleus Research HCM Value Matrix. “SumTotal, in concert with Skillsoft, has set a solid foundation for itself to defend its position and future, positive movement in the Leader quadrant,” said Brent Skinner, principal analyst at Nucleus Research. “The vendor is one of the few that offers the full breadth of HCM, soup to nuts—from payroll and the rest of WFM, to learning management and content, and all the important buckets of talent management.”

The report noted that the breadth and depth of the SumTotal offering played a key role in the positive trajectory in the Leader quadrant for the HCM Value Matrix. SumTotal is the only talent management solution that connects the critical capabilities employers need to recruit, engage, develop and reward their workforce.

The report also highlights that employers may obtain the very latest version of SumTotal regardless of which model they use to employ the software, both in the cloud and on-premise. These options provide the flexibility for customers to have a coordinated deployment across geographies. Additionally, it facilitates quick implementations and affords the employer greater control over its implementation.

“Coming on the heels of being named one of the hottest companies in HCM by Nucleus, moving further up the leader quadrant in this year’s HCM Technology Value Matrix is an endorsement of the significant investment we have made in our technology since acquiring SumTotal,” said Bill Donoghue, chairman and CEO of the Skillsoft Group. “SumTotal is dedicated to creating an intuitive and engaging experience that’s unparalleled in personalization and usability. We’ve invested in innovation to unify talent and learning while ensuring both ease and flexibility of deployment for customers. We partner closely with our customers to build beautiful technology with a consumer-led design to deliver on their enterprise objectives. We’re proud to be recognized by Nucleus for our continued commitment to solve key industry challenges in HCM.”
