SEQRITE unveiled the latest version, 8.2, of their flagship product, End Point Security (EPS). Leveraging the state-of-the-art Endpoint Threat Hunting technology and a range of advanced features, including Application Control Safelist, Automated IoC search, Real-time IoC blocking, Rapid query to Endpoints, and Google & YouTube Access Control, EPS v8.2 sets a new standard in endpoint protection.
With an aim to empower organizations against evolving cyber threats, EPS v8.2 features the Application Control Safelist, a robust security tool that follows the principles of the Zero Trust Methodology. Safelist enhances overall security posture by allowing network administrators to define specific application permissions based on the Operating System, including default OS settings and SEQRITE applications. This level of customization ensures that only authorized applications can run on the system, minimizing the risk of potential security breaches. Notably, this feature enables administrators to record and review application access without immediate blocking. This valuable insight helps identify potential security risks while ensuring operational continuity.
Dr. Sanjay Katkar, Joint Managing Director, Quick Heal Technologies Limited, said, “As attack surfaces are widening, the launch of SEQRITE EPS v8.2 marks a significant milestone for both SEQRITE and its customers. With state-of-the-art endpoint threat detection and protection mechanisms, coupled with intuitive management features, v8.2 empowers organizations to proactively defend against sophisticated cyberattacks.”
Apart from Application Control Safelist, EPS v8.2 comes loaded with several other advanced features that offer comprehensive security from cyber threats. One of them is the Google & YouTube Access Controller, which enhances web security by enabling administrators to exercise control over Google & YouTube access based on chosen account domains and Video Content Categories.
