Polycom has announced the global availability of the Polycom RealPresence Clariti collaboration infrastructure software which delivers Polycom’s powerful HD voice, content, video and web collaboration to businesses of any size. Deployable on-premises, in a private hosted cloud or through a partner-hosted service, the RealPresence Clariti solution allows customers, including small and mid-sized businesses, to connect and experience the power of enterprise-grade visual collaboration.
As per the release, the RealPresence Clariti solution is priced in a simple per-user, per-year model. It features exceptional audio, video and content collaboration software, which connects people with the highest quality through a wide range of devices. It includes Polycom RealConnect technology for Skype for Business, which seamlessly connects Skype for Business and other video conferencing environments leveraging native Microsoft Outlook calendaring and One Touch Dialing. Powerful analytics are also included to create actionable insights on utilisation and performance of the network. With this data, administrators will gain a deeper understanding of how, and when, employees are using collaboration tools, while improving user adoption and experience.
Polycom RealPresence Clariti is the first collaboration solution to offer an optional hybrid cloud bursting service to effortlessly handle unplanned and planned spikes in demand. Cloud bursting, which becomes available starting in North America in June, removes the burden and risk of anticipating future needs. If the RealPresence Clariti infrastructure is reaching maximum capacity, new sessions are transparently redirected to the Polycom cloud where additional capacity is available. This provides peace of mind for important meetings and takes the risk out of scheduling company-wide events when video-based communications will be at a premium. The Polycom RealPresence Clariti collaboration infrastructure software is now available globally, said the release.
