Seasoned executive to lead Nutanix’s growth in Asia-Pacific and Japan

Nutanix has appointed Jay Tuseth as the new Vice President and General Manager for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ). Reporting directly to Andrew Brinded, Nutanix’s Chief Revenue Officer, Tuseth brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Tuseth, who has been based in Singapore since 2013, previously served as Conviva’s Vice President of Sales for APAC SAAS Applications and General Manager of Customer Experience. At Conviva, he led operations in the APJ region, focusing on enhancing Quality of Experience for digital businesses. His leadership style is characterized by a mindset of continuous growth, challenging teams to push boundaries and take ownership.

Andrew Brinded, Chief Revenue Officer at Nutanix, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointment: “We are thrilled to welcome Jay Tuseth to the Nutanix family. His extensive experience and proven track record in the APJ region will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence and support our customers’ digital transformation journeys.”

Before joining Conviva, Tuseth held the position of VP of Cloud Applications at Oracle and spent 12 years at Dell Technologies and EMC in various executive leadership roles. His extensive experience in leading diverse teams and helping customers leverage data for competitive advantage makes him a valuable addition to Nutanix.

Tuseth holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from Regis University in the United States. His appointment comes shortly after Nutanix launched Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Microsoft Azure in Qatar, a solution that enables private and public enterprises to integrate their on-premises infrastructure with the Microsoft Azure cloud.

With Tuseth now leading Nutanix’s APJ operations, the company aims to strengthen its position in the region, focusing on expanding cloud adoption and supporting enterprises in their digital transformation journey.
