The report evaluated 12 vendors against nine critical capabilities in four common use cases of the product.

Hill, Kenneth Chin, and Rob Dunie considers four use cases including Investigative Cases, Incident Management, Service Request and Process-to-Decision; that are common across multiple industries. Newgen Software has scored 3.82, 3.67, 3.58 and 3.73 respectively out of a possible 5.
