NetApp promotes Krithiwas Neelakantan to Director, NGDC Business India

Company sees a strategic focus on NGDC business growth in the India market

NetApp India has elevated Krithiwas Neelakantan as Director NGDC (Next Generation Data Centre) Business. In his new role, Krithiwas would be responsible for establishing the NetApp expertise in building the Next Generation Datacentres in India. With NetApp’s leadership in Flash storage, coupled with the NetApp Data Fabric solutions, the company is uniquely positioned to offer next generation data centre expertise that empower customers to seamlessly liberate, integrate and unleash the full potential of data environments—whether they be on-premises, public or hybrid cloud.

“Krithiwas believes in a strategic approach and applies his broad knowledge of the market with smart sales and organizational skills and has in his last role, helped build strong relations with our channel partners and customers. As NetApp embarks upon the next phase of growth as the data authority in the hybrid cloud era, his exceptional industry knowledge and domain skills will be a great advantage in expanding to new spaces,” said Anil Valluri, President, NetApp India & SAARC.

Krithiwas has been with NetApp for over five years. In his previous role as Director Channel & Alliances for India & SAARC operations he was instrumental in spearheading channel development and enablement programs, cementing channel relationships and driving sales through the NetApp partner ecosystem. He is an industry veteran with over 22 years of experience across diverse verticals – education, healthcare, volume sales, business development and channels. Prior to NetApp, he has been a part of Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Wipro.

Commenting on the appointment, Krithiwas Neelakantan, Director – NGDC Business, NetApp India, said, “It has been an exciting journey and am really looking forward to the next phase. My focus will be to build NetApp as the data management authority with clear expertise in providing next generation datacentres.
