L&T Technology Services has launched TrackEi, an AI-powered railway track inspection solution designed to enhance rail safety and optimize maintenance. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson edge AI technology, TrackEi automates high-speed track inspections, enabling real-time defect detection and predictive maintenance to prevent rail failures.
Traditional rail inspections rely on manual checks or slow-moving trolleys, which can be time-consuming and may miss critical defects. TrackEi overcomes these limitations by scanning tracks at speeds over 60 miles per hour, using high-resolution cameras, laser profiling, and deep learning algorithms to detect cracks, misalignments, and other structural issues instantly.
TrackEi is currently undergoing evaluation at MxV Rail in Pueblo, CO, and has already been successfully tested with Class-I railroads. The solution will be showcased at NVIDIA GTC 2025, reinforcing LTTS’ leadership in AI-driven transportation solutions.
