Jio BlackRock AMC ropes in Fal Ghancha as CISO

Last year in October, Jio Financial and BlackRock Financial Management Inc. announced the launch of a mutual fund business. The joint venture with BlackRock is progressing smoothly, with ongoing efforts to establish systems, infrastructure, and recruitment, which includes the leadership team. As part of the hiring process, they have recently appointed Fal Ghancha as the Head Technology and CISO.

He owns a Bachelors followed by a Masters degree in Computer Engineering. He has also achieved multiple certifications and honors, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional, 100 Top CISOs, and keynote speaker at The European Information Security Summit. 

“I am excited to be a part of the JioBlackRock team. My mission is to leverage my techno-managerial acumen and domain expertise to drive tangible organizational growth objectives and protect the organization from cyber threats,” shared Fal Ghancha.

With over 19 years of experience in the IT and cyber security field, he has a proven track record of delivering innovative and effective solutions for various business needs and challenges. Starting his career with Welspun World as Sr.Manager – IT, he moved to Aegon Life. At his last role at DSP Mutual Fund as Chief Information Security Officer, he was an integral part of the InfoSec Team responsible for Information and Cyber Security Governance, Policies & Processes, Information Security audits and Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery drills.
