HCL Infosystems has appointed Bimal Das as the joint president for its distribution business. Bimal will lead the enterprise products distribution business, strengthen the partner portfolio and focus on growing enterprise products & IT distribution business.
Bimal Das is an established business leader with a remarkable career spanning over 25 years. Bimal is a versatile professional with rich experience in building and managing diverse businesses in the IT & FMCG industry. Prior to joining HCL Infosystems, he was the Managing director of PT. Ingram Micro, Indonesia and had also worked with companies like Hindustan Lever Limited and Usha Rectifier Corporation Limited.

At HCL Infosystems, Bimal has been given the mandate to expand the enterprise partner ecosystem, take niche enterprise products to market and grow the cloud distribution portfolio by partnering with leading cloud service providers. He would also play a key role in enabling growth in HCL’s services business as new partnerships in the Enterprise Products Distribution business would have attached Warranty and AMC Services.
