To be recognized at the I.C.O.N.I.C IDC Insights Awards 2014
On completing 50 glorious years of providing strategic insights to help clients achieve their key business objectives, International Data Corporation (IDC) is rolling out the I.C.O.N.I.C IDC Insights Awards in India. IDC Insights Awards will honour the business and IT leaders who envisaged, conceptualized, and successfully executed an IT/Technology Implementation that brought about tangible results for their organization.
Jaideep Mehta, Vice President and General Manager – South Asia, IDC, said, “CIOs face unprecedented challenges in the current times. While technology disruptions buffet them on one hand, increasing interventions and independent purchasing decisions made by business leaders are increasing complexity on the other hand. Insights Awards aim to recognize the select few who can exploit this adversity and convert it into opportunity.”
IDC recognizes CIO success along various verticals: Energy, Finance, Health & Life Sciences, Retail/ E-tail, Manufacturing & Logistics, TMT and Services (Telecom, Media & Technology and Services), Conglomerate and Government.
The Insights Awards identify the achievements of Business and IT leaders through six categories of awards: Excellence in Innovation, Excellence in Transformation, Excellence in Customer Experience, Excellence in Supply Chain Management, Excellence in Employee Engagement, and Social Impact Award.
IDC will recognize CIOs for business impact across industries with immense rigour in the nomination and selection process. The judging process will be conducted in three phases:
Phase 1: Initial Screening
Phase 2: Detailed Analysis
Phase 3: Interviews
The analyst conducts the interview, scores the nomination and send a summary of his observations (pros/cons/CV highlights) to the award coordinator.
Each submission will be treated with highest confidentiality. The winners will be selected by a panel of highly respected IDC senior executives.
