HP HelionOpenStack Platform now Available

Tightly integrated solutions enable enterprises to quickly develop, deploy and deliver highly available, secure and scalable hybrid cloud applications

HP HelionOpenStack and the HP Helion Development Platformis now available commercially to enable organizations to build, consume and manage open, hybrid cloud environments.HP also introduced its first optimized solution for HP Helion – HP Helion Content Depot – a highly scalable storage solution designed specifically to address the rapid growth in unstructured data, such as images, videos and files.

HP Helion OpenStackis the HP commercial distribution of OpenStack® technology, the leading open source cloud computing platform. HP Helion OpenStack is delivered, tested and supported by HP and is designed to deliver scalable, open-source based, hybrid cloud solutions.

The HP Helion Development Platformis a development environment, based on Cloud Foundry and optimized for HP Helion OpenStack, offeringenterprise developers an open platform to build, deploy and manage scalable cloud native applications quickly. Together, HP Helion OpenStack and the HP Helion Development Platform present a complete Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution for enterprises seeking to deploy hybrid clouds.

HP Helion Content Depot is the first optimized and fully-integrated solution designedspecifically to handle rising volumes of unstructured data, such as location data, images and files like chat sessions which contain information of value to enterprises. It is a scale out private cloud solution specifically designed to rapidly and cost-effectively extend an organization’s storage environment.
