HID Acknowledged for its Mobility Initiative

Company gets recognized with industry award for HID mobile access solution by the Security, Sales& Integration Magazine for HID Mobile Access Solution

HID Global has received an industry award from Security Sales & Integration magazine for its HID Mobile Access solution. The award reinforces the company’s mobility initiative for turning smart devices into trusted credentials for secure access to doors, data, and cloud apps and, most recently, carrying driver’s licenses and other citizen IDs.

According to the press release, HID Mobile Access was recognized with Security Sales & Integration magazine’s Most Valuable Product award as the top commercial access product in the Access Control category. The proven platform was recently enhanced with new capabilities including support for Apple Watch, Android Wear and tablets, as well as a new HID Mobile Access Portal and App SDKs for creating customized mobile access solutions.

The Security Sales & Integration magazine MVP award was announced at last week’s ISC West event, where HID Global launched its mobility initiative spanning a variety of solutions, investments and strategic alliances aimed at creating a more convenient, trusted and secure experience in today’s increasingly connected, mobile-first world. The HID Mobile Access solution and other HID Global mobility offerings are powered by the company’s Seos credential technology, which makes it possible to carry trusted IDs in mobile devices. With this latest recognition, HID Global has now received nearly two dozen awards for its solutions based on Seos technology, the release said.
Harm Radstaak, VP and Managing Director, Physical Access Control with HID Global. “It is extremely gratifying to be recognized with another award for our HID Mobile Access solution. Our ongoing mobile access enhancements are aimed at continually giving partners and customers even more flexibility as the industry begins to put trusted identities at the heart of a more secure digital lifestyle.”
