Harish Arora to Head Netapp’s ‘WARP’

Named as new vice president of engineering

NetApp has appointed Harish Arora to vice president of engineering. In this critical engineering management role Harish will lead ‘WARP’ Development engineering – a team focused on the development of Data ONTAP file system, data reliability, high availability, and non-disruptive operations.

An IT veteran with twenty years of experience in system-level software product development and engineering management, Harish brings with him a combination of skill sets – a proven track record of building products to meet global customer needs and encouraging a disciplined approach towards execution – that reinforce NetApp’s commitment to deliver excellence and enable customer success.

Tony Chang, VP Engineering, said, “Harish is ideally suited to serve the key engineering leadership role in our NetApp Bangalore office to lead a world-class development team responsible for designing and delivering next generation innovations in Data ONTAP that’s flash- accelerated and cloud-integrated.”

Harish holds a PGSEM degree in management from IIM Bangalore as well as an M. Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT Madras.
