Fortinet announced that it has been recognized as India’s top network security provider for large enterprises with a CIO CHOICE 2017 award. The trophy was handed out at an exclusive Red Carpet event where CIO CHOICE celebrated its 5th anniversary amidst a gathering of over 400 CIOs and ICT business leaders.
The CIO CHOICE awards recognize ICT companies with a presence in India. This year’s awards were the most competitive in its history, seeing the highest number of nominations and entry submissions. More than 200 entries were received this year, from an array of public and private ICT vendor companies, large as well as small & medium enterprises, from across India.
Winners of CIO CHOICE 2017 were determined by an independent CIO voting survey from across the country on product performance, customer satisfaction and continued customer service. It is a recognition and validation that CIOs will trust because it is bestowed by CIOs.
“The CIO Choice trust seal is a gold standard and validation from the CIO community as it represents the voice of the customer,” said Anoop Mathur, Founder & President at Centre of Recognition & Excellence, which organised the awards. “By being voted by CIOs, Fortinet has proven their expertise in network security technology, and this places them among the top percentile of enterprise ICT vendors in India.”
Rajesh Maurya, Regional Director, India & SAARC at Fortinet said, “It’s a true honor to have Fortinet receive the CIO CHOICE award in Network Security category. This accolade validates Fortinet’s ability to deliver industry-leading security solutions for our customers. Since its launch last year, the Fortinet Security Fabric architecture has triggered a paradigm shift in the way businesses approach their network security strategy. The Fortinet Security Fabric delivers a dynamic, unified framework that enables CIOs to reduce the complexity of their security architectures by adopting an integrated multi-layer approach for seamless protection with actionable threat intelligence across all points in the network – from IoT to Cloud.”
