Equinix to Confer on Digital Transformation of Enterprises

Representatives will discuss the changing requirements of enterprises in the digital era at the panel discussion on May 10th at ITW 2016

Equinix has announced that representatives from the company will be speaking at the upcoming ITW 2016 conference, taking place May 8-11 in Chicago. ITW is the world’s largest meeting for the global wholesale telecommunications community. At the event, Equinix will be hosting an executive roundtable focused on the interconnection challenges presented by today’s always-on, digital world. Carol Wilson, Editor-at-Large at LightReading will lead a discussion with executives from Equinix, Global Capacity, Level 3 and GTT Communications around how they are leveraging interconnection to deploy a hybrid or multi-cloud solution.

According to the press release, solving for Digital Disruption through Interconnection is becoming increasingly important as we enter a digital age that is impacting every industry on a major scale. This panel will review the interconnection challenges presented by today’s always-on, digital world. During this panel discussion, Equinix and leading network service providers will explore what service providers need to do themselves, as well as collectively, to satisfy rapidly changing enterprise requirements driven by the digital era. Panelists will describe their experience implementing or partnering to deliver on “digital”, as well as, their vision of what’s to come in the next 5 years.

The panel discussion will take place on May 10 from 9AM to 10:30AM at the ITW 2016: Swissotel – Swiss Tower, Gold Level in Chicago. The Panel Moderator will be Carol Wilson, Editor-at-Large, LightReading. Among the participants Jack Lodge, President, Global Capacity, Roger Kim, Sr. Director of Product Management, GTT Communications, Paul Savill, Sr. Vice President of Product Management, Level 3 Jim Poole, Vice President, Global Ecosystem Development, Equinix, said the release.
