Eli Global selects Trend Micro to secure business critical servers

By deploying Trend Micro’s 360° Connected Threat Defense strategy

Trend Micro Incorporated secures Eli Global, a globally diversified information and services group, by providing a comprehensive solution for their business critical servers. Trend Micro’s solution helped the organization by providing visibility and protection against the complete lifecycle of targeted attack at the group level and initiated proactive response to contain these threats ensuring network security.

Eli Global implemented Trend Micro’s Connected Threat Defense strategy which offers a 360° view of security posture of Network, Endpoint and Data Centers. Deep Discovery and Deep Security which form a critical part of Connected Threat Defense provided Eli Global with a layered approach to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, which include – advanced malware, network exploits and operating system/application vulnerabilities.

“Eli Global was vulnerable to cyber-attacks which had the potential of affecting critical assets, impacting network performance, and disrupting business operations. Therefore, we deployed a combination of Trend Micro Deep Discovery and Deep Security solution for complete visibility, scanning and disinfection of incoming malware,” said Nilesh Jain, Country Manager – (India and SAARC), Trend Micro.

“The key challenges that we had to overcome included disparate systems leading to inefficient network performance, security breaches and malware attacks. Since, the organization’s existing solutions from multiple OEMs were operating in silos, we integrated the security systems together to establish seamless and optimized network performance, thereby reducing cost and complexity,” he further added.

“Trend Micro helped build a robust defense system that not only helped us identify and shield vulnerabilities but also fully secure our network. The solution helped protect business critical servers from advanced threat like ransomware, attackers targeting operating system, and application vulnerabilities from being attacked over the network via a compromised endpoint. This led to enhanced network security and improved network performance,” said Upendra Singh, Director- Global IT, Eli Global.
