The program is designed to connect budding entrepreneurs to Dell’s strong application testing services organization
Dell Services has launched its Application Testing Startup Incubator Program (T-SIP) in India.
The program is designed to connect budding entrepreneurs to Dell’s strong application testing services organization to help build new and potentially disruptive testing solutions. The program will cover testing for security, mobile, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications, along with Testing-as-a-Service and crowd testing.
Under T-SIP, startups chosen through the selection process can connect with Dell’s technology evangelists for advice and consulting, and get help in creating their Intellectual Property (IP), to enhance their business. Three startups will be selected for incubation in the first phase.
“Application testing services have today emerged as an exciting and fast growing technology space. This industry is at an inflection point where developers and testers are no longer working in isolation; they are collaborating more to benefit end users,” said Dhiraj Sinha, Executive Director, Application Testing, Dell Services, “We believe that this program will offer multiple benefits to both startups and Dell’s customers. Innovative startups can scale quickly and significantly by teaming up with Dell. For Dell, this program will help us explore ways to strengthen our service offering to improve cycle time and quality, and pass on cost reductions to our customers.”
Submissions to the program are now open to startup organizations that are focused on application testing and own unique IP in this space. Submissions will be evaluated on several criteria, including uniqueness of IP and stage of innovation – concept, beta, actual installations and future roadmap. The two-tier selection process includes an in-person discussion with startups that register, followed by a presentation to the Dell Testing Innovation Steering Committee.
