Dell launches a new, full range of security solutions that enable customers to implement a comprehensive enterprise security strategy to protect their organization from evolving threats while strengthening business agility. New future-ready solutions from Dell’s security portfolio include: a new approach to detecting and blocking advanced persistent threats; expanded user security for cloud apps with multi-factor authentication; enhancements to the Dell Data Protection (DDP) suite of data security solutions; management and policy integration across Dell next-generation firewalls (NGFWs), the switch and wireless access point; and new application security services. These new solutions reinforce Dell’s commitment to delivering a full range of security solutions designed to meet the myriad of security challenges a customer faces.
Businesses are becoming more strategic with their security investments and are using security to enable new things or a competitive advantage, as Dell recently revealed in its Global Technology Adoption Index (GTAI 2015). The GTAI surveyed IT and business decision makers around the world to find out how they perceive, plan for and utilize key technologies, and found that strategic approaches to security are gaining ground in North America and Western Europe. The share of North American organizations that indicated security is enabling new things or a competitive advantage grew from 25 percent in 2014 to 35 percent in 2015, and grew from 26 percent to 30 percent among Western Europe.
