Dell-EMC to highlight the Digital Transformation at CIO Forum 2017

Dell EMC Forum- A premier technology event where IT leaders explore business & technology trends, cloud landscape & global best practices

Technology is transforming the way we live and work at an ever-increasing pace. Post the successful merger last year, the combination of Dell and EMC has created the world’s largest privately controlled, integrated technology company which is best positioned to help all its customers and partners through their Digital Transformation journey.

To address the transformation journey of enterprises to adopt digital, showcase advanced solutions to overcome the new challenges and elevate IT to the next level, Dell EMC is organizing their annual flagship event- Dell-EMC CIO Forum 2017 on 8th September in Mumbai followed by an outreach in four cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore). These events across four cities will host four tracks with 35 sessions for tech enthusiasts. The 8th edition of Dell EMC Forum also marks the one year anniversary of Dell and EMC coming together in a successful merger. With an over-arching theme of ‘REALIZE Transformation’, the daylong event in Mumbai will entail four tracks namely – Digital Transformation, IT Transformation, Modernizing IT and Cloud. The forum will be all encompassing across customers of Dell EMC under the commercial and enterprise segments. The event is geared towards sharing the company vision, learning for the attending executives/practitioners and immense networking opportunity amongst peers.

The Forum will have speakers from Dell EMC address the gathering and will be a great showcase platform of the merger where there will be engineering (COE), services, business units, field forces in sales/marketing/communications and global/regional and country teams coming together for a powerful event experience. The track under workforce transformation will hold an innovation CIO debate on the topic ‘Will humans and machines have an equal role in the workplace of tomorrow?’ The other activities will include noted visiting executives and domestic speakers who will address multiple sessions, where attendees can witness the big technologies like Hybrid Cloud, All Flash, Software Defined Storage, Big Data and Converged Infrastructure in action. The forum will also witness perspective from business leaders on the importance of technology, their expectations from technology leaders in digital business transformation.

A highlight for this years’ event will be the panel discussion on Transformational Leadership with New Rules of Engagement, led by women leaders, Therese Cooney– Senior Vice President, APJ Client Solutions, Dell EMC, Karinne Brannigan – Senior Vice President, APJ Marketing, Dell EMC and Sheenam Ohrie – Vice President, Mobile & Search Engineering, Global IT. The forum will also contain the first ever Dell EMC Designathon – an innovative approach to push forward the design thinking amongst the community.

With content for all categories of attendees including – CIOs, IT decision makers, users and administrators, this platform gives immense opportunity to connect with onsite tech experts. Some of the keynote speakers will include David Webster -President, APJ Enterprise Business, Dell EMC; Jaideep Mehta, Analyst, IDC along with a transformational keynote by Mithali Raj.
