Bennett University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dell-EMC on 27th of April 2017 to set up a joint research lab to work on data analytics and machine learning.
By virtue of this partnership, Bennett University becomes a member of Dell EMC’s External Research and Academic Alliance Program. The alliance would primarily entail co-ordination of information and expertise dissemination for Education and Training in the field of Information Storage and Management (“ISM”), Cloud Infrastructure Services (“CIS”), Data Science and Big Data Analytics (“DSBDA”) and Data Protection and Management (“DPM”). Dell EMC will establish a science Lab at Bennett campus to develop key skills of the faculty & students of Bennett University in the areas of Data Science and Cloud Infrastructure.
The staffs of Bennett University’s Computer Science Engineering department will be trained by Dell EMC in some of the leading technological areas. The training will be extended to students with emphasis on practical application, providing a scope for around 120 students every year to opt for a course in Data Science, Cloud and Information Infrastructure.
