D-Link India and Moxa have tied up together as a cohesive group to provide technology solutions for Smart City projects a mega Initiative by the Indian government under “Smart Cities Mission” to develop entire urban eco-system, represented by the four pillars of comprehensive development-institutional, physical, social and economic infrastructure.
As per the release, jointly, companies aim to address to the opportunities in this smart city projects and are strongly placed to support national initiatives such as Digital India & Smart Cities. Moxa’s strength and existing success in various vertical markets in India, including Solar Power, Smart Grid, Railway, Metro, and CCTV Surveillance Systems, will certainly enhance the company’s value proposition for Smart Cities Mission proposals
Both the Organisation see this Current opportunity arises from 100 proposed Smart Cities by the Urban and Development Ministry which had recently finalized 20 cities for the mega initiative and is investing Rs 50,802 crore over a period of five years through a public-private-partnership (PPP) model, said the release.
