Convergys India grows to 15,000 employees
Convergys Corporation, a global leader in customer management and the first US Business Process Management (BPM) company in India, continues to grow and expand operations in its seven centers across the country. In a recently concluded visit in November, Chief Operating Officer Marge Connelly met with the geography’s leadership team, recognizing Convergys India’s contributions to the company’s global footprint and her confidence on the continuation of its journey of growth.
Rajiv Ahuja, Senior VP of Operations for Convergys India, Malaysia and China, states “India remains vital to the success of our global growth strategy. Since Convergys started operations in India 14 years ago as our first offshore destination, our team has steadily grown. Thanks to the great performance of the India team across our 7 centers nationwide, we continue to attract the best and brightest Indian talent, and are already 15,000-strong today from 13,000 at the start of the year. We look forward to continuing this success into the future.”
India operations support telecommunications, technology, financial services, and healthcare companies and their customers in North America, UK and Australia. Voice, chat, email and back-office support is delivered across customer service, technical support and sales work types.

SVP for Operations Rajiv Ahuja joined COO Marge Connelly in visiting Convergys sites in Bangalore and Gurgaon for a series of business reviews and meetings with the leadership team from November 5 to 7.
