The flagship seven city exclusive CIO Open Forum hosted by CtrlS Datacenters in partnership with Enterprise IT World wrapped up the Chennai chapter which witnessed over 60 CIOs and IT Leaders from the circle come together to discuss the transforming role and roadmap ahead.
After the successful engagement over 350 IT leaders in five cities, the CIO Dine and Discourse, hosted by CtrlS Datacenters and Enterprise IT World Magazine continued to Chennai where the evening event witnessed over 60 CIOs, CTOs and enterprise IT leaders combining the top brass of the state converged at the venue to exchange their views on the hot topic, the transforming CIO role and the road ahead.
The CIO Dine and Discourse 2018 Chennai took place at the ITC Grand Chola on the 20th of April 2018. The event continued the momentum from the previous five engagements in March and April as veteran IT leaders took part in a Panel Discussion on the role transformation for current CIOs in the new technology landscape and the road ahead for emerging leaders of tomorrow.
The discussion at the Chennai event was moderated by veteran IT leader Amol Vidwans, Smart City and IoT Technology Evangelist; ex-CIO, Unique Group, Dighi Port, Marg Group and Mahindra Holidays. Among the panelists were Arvind Sivaramakrishnan, Chief Information Officer, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Vijay Anand, Vice President IT, Visionary RCM, Sampath Kumar Thirumalai, Vice President – Global Delivery Head, Tech Mahindra and Balaji TK, Head Information Technology, Vivek Limited. The panel discussion was followed up by the open forum where CIOs and IT leaders from the audience took part in the discussion, gave their view points and raised questions.
The event also saw an informative presentation by CtrlS Datacenters on the history of Datacenters Sanjay Mohapatra, Group Editor, Accent Infomedia and Enterprise IT World made a keynote address pondering on the idea behind these events and also announced the CIO500 Mega Tech Summit and Awards event, locally unveiling the CIO500 logo with Senior CIOs from the area.
The Seven City CIO Dinner and Discussion events are conceptualized to give enterprise IT leaders an open platform to come and express their views among peers, gain insights and gather actionable experience to add to the value of their organizations. The event series which is India’s first CIO Open Forum of its kind will wrap up with Pune in the month of April. The final city on the roadmap, Pune hosts the event on the 27th of April at JW Marriott, Senapati Bapat Road. The events across seven New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune are conceptualized and hosted by India’s leading CIO publication Enterprise IT World and are powered by India’s largest Tier4 Datacenter organization CtrlS Datacenters.
