Bisignano will serve as Chief Legal Officer
Michael Bisignano has joined CA Technologies as general counsel and executive vice president. Bisignano is based in New York City and reports to Chief Executive Officer Mike Gregoire.

His experience with technology and software-as-a-service will be very valuable as we expand CA’s portfolio in cloud computing.”
As general counsel, Bisignano will be CA’s chief legal officer, responsible for providing legal guidance to the company’s senior management and board of directors. He will oversee all of CA’s legal operations, including corporate governance and compliance, contracts, securities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and litigation.

Bisignano has more than two decades of business experience. Most recently, he served as general counsel and chief legal officer of Blackboard, Inc., a global technology company with 2,600 employees and clients in 90 countries. Bisignano oversaw critical aspects of the $1.64 billion transaction that took Blackboard private in 2011.
