Enterprise IT World successfully hosted its first edition of Asia’s largest CIO event. The summit, Dell Technologies – Ingram Micro presents CIO 500 Conclave & Awards 2019 was hosted from 13th-15th December, at Hotel Pullman Novotel, Aerocity, New Delhi.
The summit saw 500 CIOs and Technology Heads from across India as they gathered to discuss the latest technology trends that are driving the Digital Transformation of the industries. The first day of the event saw keynote addresses delivered by representatives from event partners Dell Technologies, IBM, VMWare, TeamViewer and Cloud4C. The first day ended with the award ceremony where over 250 IT professionals were honoured for their contribution to the industry.
The second day of the event witnessed a series of knowledge sessions where industry veterans engaged in insightful discussions. There were panel discussions on Datacenter & Growth in Cloud, Future of Technology, CEO Vs CIO – Aligning the Expectations of Board, AI/ML/RPA, Deep Learning, Data Security, Dark Web/Dark Net and Changing Role of CIO – Challenges and Opportunities. Apart from that there were sessions that elaborated on the Digital Transformation in different sectors like BFSI, Manufacturing and Healthcare.
Post the award ceremony, the day was closed off with bang with Aki Kumar and his band. The attendees danced along to the tunes of Bollywood Blues. The attendees coming together for yoga, golf and cricket gave an informal touch to the gathering.
