Arcserve announced that industry veteran David Lenz has been appointed as the company’s Vice President, Asia Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Lenz is a highly experienced senior leader with over 25 years of proven success in enterprise and channel sales, business development, and operational leadership across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. As Arcserve’s APAC VP, he will lead partner-centric growth across the region.

“As companies navigate increasingly complex IT environments, they need ways to simplify how they protect systems and applications,” said Andy Zollo, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Arcserve. “David’s deep regional expertise, strong channel credentials and impressive record of driving growth are an ideal fit to support our channel community in Asia Pacific.”

David was most recently the CEO & Managing Director of Hills Limited and oversaw the strategic direction and operations of the business. David spent over six years at Hills, where he served in sales and operational leadership roles before taking the helm in 2016. Prior to Hills, David held senior roles with Ingram Micro, Surfcontrol and Novell.

“Business continuity is a growing concern for many Asia Pacific organisations, from the ever-increasing threat of cybersecurity attacks. I look forward to working with our hugely diverse base of customers, suppliers, and employees to help unlock the growth potential within the region,” said Lenz.
