Aqua Security appoints Cynthia Lee as Regional Vice President. Lee brings 20 years of experience helping customers navigate the evolving digital transformation challenges and opportunities in cybersecurity, particularly in the dynamic and fast-growing markets of APJ.
Lee returns to Aqua with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation within the cybersecurity landscape. In her earlier role with Aqua, Lee served as the Regional Sales Director and was instrumental in Aqua’s initial expansion in 2021. Lee’s strategic foresight and deep industry expertise were pivotal in establishing Aqua’s foothold in the region.
Since Aqua introduced the general availability of the Aqua Cloud Security Platform, SaaS version, serving the broader APJ region in 2022, Aqua’s seen a surge of interest from customers to take advantage of the data sovereignty, platform security and flexibility provided by the Aqua SaaS service.
“Assuming the role of Regional Vice President at Aqua Security is a privilege, particularly at such a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. The APJ cybersecurity landscape is rapidly evolving with the remarkable rise in demand for cloud native security solutions, and my tenure with Aqua previously has afforded me direct insight into the transformative effects of our solutions, empowering organisations to secure their cloud native applications with efficacy. I am excited to lead our efforts in delivering innovative solutions that address the evolving cybersecurity landscape and empower businesses to navigate this new era securely.”
Lee’s appointment comes at a time when the demand for sophisticated cloud native security solutions is at an all-time high. The increased demand reflects a broader trend across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), that is driven by rapid digital transformation and heightened awareness of cybersecurity risks. In Singapore, specifically, the adoption of SaaS models is accelerating as businesses seek scalability, flexibility and efficiency in their security operations.
