Annie Mathew joins Ashoka University

Versatile professional with reputation for integrity, drive and commitment, Annie Mathew quits Mother Dairy after 19 long years.

Ashoka University has roped in Annie Mathew as its new Vice President – Information Technology. She brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in leading IT transformations across diverse organizations. With over 30 years of rich IT experience, Annie possesses a unique blend of technical knowledge and a deep understanding of key business drivers. 

At Ashoka, Annie will play a pivotal role in shaping their technological landscape as the university continues to develop the university. Her focus will include developing a comprehensive IT strategy, modernizing our IT infrastructure, fostering a culture of digital processes and adoption, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures to protect our data and assets, and collaborating with key stakeholders to create a strong networking ecosystem. The IT team, led by Anu Batra, will work closely with Annie to achieve this ambitious roadmap for the university.

Annie is more than just a technologist; she’s a passionate advocate for harnessing the power of technology to drive positive change. She holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from LIT, Nagpur University and PGDST from CDAC, Mumbai. In her last stint she was associated with Mother Dairy for 18 years and was instrumental in establishing IT as a central service and consolidating all hardware, software, and network administration across Mother Dairy, leading to the first successful SAP implementation in the Indian dairy industry.
