AGS Transact, ACI Worldwide unveil state-of-the-art Datacenter

Collaboration will provide access to ultra-secure, seamless and faster cloud-based payments solutions

AGS Transact Technologies Limited and ACI Worldwide recently unveiled a world class data center at the AGS House in Navi Mumbai. The collaboration will enable both companies to leverage their expertise and par excellence infrastructure in the Indian market, delivering cloud-based managed services capabilities for digital payments and fraud prevention.

Spread over six floors engaging a workforce of over 650 experts with 24/7 coverage, the facility will test, stage and monitor global cloud-based functionalities available at minimal CAPEX customizing solutions. These solutions will be available to support retail, transit, fuel, banking and other industries that are looking for an exceptional payments infrastructure and expertise.

Commenting on the occasion, Ravi Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director, AGS Transact Technologies Ltd  said, “Our collaboration with ACI Worldwide is of great significance as it further strengthens our digital payments technology offerings and consolidates our market leadership to become the only company to offer the most comprehensive  end to end transactions technology and payments management solutions. This centre will play a pivotal role in enabling AGSTTL and ACI to monitor information on a real-time basis and provide our clients with an opportunity to partake into global functionalities with minimal capital investment.”

Last year, India reported over 50,000 cybersecurity-related incidents coupled with the world’s largest data breach in the banking sector—bringing to the fore the criticality of robust fraud prevention technologies.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with AGSTTL—a proven leader in the Indian digital payments market,” said Craig Saks, Chief Operating Officer, ACI Worldwide. “This dedicated centre in India will play a key role in addressing domestic challenges with real-time control over fraud risks by utilising ACI’s industry-leading enterprise fraud prevention capabilities.”

In November 2016, AGS Transact Technologies Limited and ACI Worldwide announced a strategic alliance to introduce Universal Payments capabilities to the Indian market. Setting up an exclusive India data centre demonstrates the continued collaboration of two payments industry leaders to provide ACI’s leading payment solutions to the Indian market via a cloud deployment model in AGS’s world class data centres.
