Epsilon Expands Bilateral Partnership with SEAX to Seamlessly Connect Customers Across Southeast Asia

Epsilon, a global connectivity provider, has expanded its partnership with SEAX, a neutral ICT infrastructure provider, owner, operator and partner, to boost its presence across Southeast Asia. The expansion enables Epsilon’s customers and partners to seamlessly connect to Indonesia’s rapidly growing market, as well as between SEAX points of presence (PoP) located in Singapore and Malaysia.

With growing customer demands for connectivity to Indonesia, Epsilon is extending its reach for customers, as well as enabling SEAX’s customers to gain access to an evolving ecosystem via its Network as a Service (NaaS) platform Infiny. SEAX’s infrastructure connects Southeast Asia with a fiber backhaul network and subsea cable system including the SEAX-1 cable, as well as onward connectivity with over 30 subsea cables across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

“Working with SEAX helps us to take our regional connectivity to new places and provide our partners and customers with seamless interconnection between Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia through Infiny,” said Warren Aw, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Epsilon. “We are excited to be growing our partnership with SEAX as we continue to expand network footprint to meet rising customer demands. With rapid adoption of digital services and application in Southeast Asia, the time is right for us to enable businesses in this region to connect on-demand to the digital infrastructure they need.”

With a population of over 677 million people, Southeast Asia has a booming digital economy and close to 400 million internet users. Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia serve as key markets for Epsilon as demand for network connectivity driven by the rise in consumption of digital services such as e-commerce and food delivery. The bilateral partnership enables SEAX to use Infiny to deliver on-demand connectivity over Epsilon global private network, while Epsilon enables high-capacity network services via SEAX’s PoPs located in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia

“Our continued partnership with Epsilon epitomises the commitment both companies have to providing a better customer experience when interconnecting across the region,” said Louis Teng, Chief Executive Officer at SEAX. “SEAX existing network infrastructure and Infiny’s platform are complementary in nature. This partnership will enable both SEAX and Epsilon to provide our customers with scalable, private, secure and direct connectivity to a growing ecosystem of data centres, cloud service providers and internet exchanges and we’re pleased to be able to work hand in hand with Epsilon to value add to both our customers and theirs. We look forward to seeing what’s next for our ongoing partnership.”
